HealthIntend Tackling health inequalities in Suffolk

Health Intend is the Community Health Lottery for Suffolk

So far, money raised by HealthIntend has meant funding of £128,284 for health related good causes in your area, with more to come.

Local organisations who have benefitted from monies raised by HealthIntend include Suffolk Chinese Family Welfare Association, The Carer’s Trust and Alzheimer’s Society.

HealthIntend’s first Health Lottery draw was held in December 2012.  One of the great things about our Community Health Lottery is the speed with which the money gets directly to where it’s needed.

The next HealthIntend Community Health Lottery takes place on Wednesday, January 29, 2014  – don’t miss out on the chance of £100,000 and the opportunity to help health causes in our area!

The CICs were established and are conducted to tackle health inequalities in their local areas.

HealthIntend is  your Community Health Lottery, and we want to hear from our community at large, and smaller groups within the community, as to where you would like the money to go.

We’ve made the following grants to both local projects across our area and well-known charities that work locally, these grants include:-

Alzheimer's Society: £20,611
Carer's Trust: £46,801
Youth Sports Trust - Your Activity: £43,750
Suffolk Chinese Family Welfare Association: £8,042
Ipsum YP: £9,080

There is more information about the grants awarded in the funded projects page.
